(U10227 Dog Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: to close that part of U10227 Dog Ln from its junction with B4194 Dowles Rd for a distance of 60 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U10227 Dog Ln (part), B4194 Dowles Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 26 November 2025

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

NOTICE IS GIVEN that after consultation with Worcestershire County Council and West Mercia Constabulary, Wyre Forest District Council made an Order on 16th October 2025 under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 with the following effect.
On 9th November 2025 from time to time between 10:30am and 1:00pm the following streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic, including pedal cycles, other than to vehicles participating in the event with the express consent of the organisers:

any person committing a breach of the terms of the said Order will be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding £1,000.

A copy of the Order and Plan may be inspected at Wyre Forest House, Kidderminster during Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U10520 Elton Rd from a point 33 metres east of its junction with U10521 Morella Cl for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U10520 Elton Rd (part), U10516 Hales Park, U10520 Elton Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs) Commencing: 17 November 2025

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

 WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF B4194 LOWER PARK, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Burst water main.  There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U10500 Lax Lane for a distance of 250 metres in a southerly direction.

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days; however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days (24hrs) commencing 18 September 2025.

3. Alternative routes: Diversion Anticlockwise – B4194 Red Hill, B4194 Ribbesford Road, A451 Dunley Road, A451 Bridge Street, A451 High Street, B4195 Lombard Street, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Bewdley Road North, B4195 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Cleobury Road, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 High Street, B4194 High Street. Diversion Clockwise – B4194 High Street, B4190 Load Street, B4190 Beales Corner, B4195 Stourport Road, B4195 Bewdley Road North, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Lombard Street, A451 Mitton Street, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York Street, A451 Bridge Street, A451 Dunley Road, B4194 Ribbesford Road, B4194 Red Hill.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
