Proposed Order: to close that part of U1404 Westbourne St from its junction with B4195 Stourport Rd to its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Rd

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4195 Stourport Rd, B4190 Kidderminster Rd and vice versa

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 26 January 2026

(U10304 Springhill Rise, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: to close that part of U10304 Springhill Rise from its junction with U10303 Queensway to its junction with U10305 Wassel Dr.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U10303 Queensway, U10308 Cordle Marsh Rd, U10306  Shaw Hedge Rd,
U10304 Springhill Rise (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing: 6 January 2026

Bewdley Christmas Lights Switch on 2025

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

NOTICE IS GIVEN that after consultation with Worcestershire County Council and West Mercia Constabulary, Wyre Forest District Council made an Order on 27th October 2025 under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 with the following effect.

On 29th November 2025 from time to time between 09:00am and 21:00pm the following streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic, including pedal cycles, other than to vehicles participating in the event with the express consent of the organisers:

any person committing a breach of the terms of the said Order will be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding £1,000.

A copy of the Order and Plan may be inspected at Wyre Forest House, Kidderminster during Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm.
