            ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF WESTBOURNE STREET, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Replacement electricity cable.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Roadto its junction with U10405 Lych Gate.
  • This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 dayscommencing 4 October 2021.
  • Alternative routes: – B4190 Kidderminster Road, B4195 Stourport Road,
    and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2129 TRIMPLEY LANE, U13009 CRUNDALLS LANE AND C2129 HOARSTONE LANE, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Carriageway mini patching.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of:    Closure 1: C2129 Trimpley Lane from its junction with B4190 Habberley Road to its junction with C2129 Hoarstone Lane. 

Closure 2: U13009 Crundalls Lane from its junction with U10308 Cordle Marsh Road to its junction with C2129 Hoarstone Lane. 

Closure 3: C2129 Hoarstone Lane from its junction with C2129 Habberley Road to its junction with U13009 Crundalls Lane.

  • This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 5 dayscommencing 9 August 2021.
  • Alternative routes: – U10308 Cordle Marsh Road, U10303 Queensway, B4190 Kidderminster Road, C2129 Habberley Lane, C2129 Habberley Road and vice versa.                                

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

(B4190 Load Street, Bewdley) (Temporary One-Way Closure) Order 2021

Order made: to close that part of B4190 Load Street from its junction with B4190 Load Street to its junction with U10227 Severn Side North in a westerly direction.

Reason: New Customer Connection by Cadent Gas

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4190 Load Street, B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Road, B4195 Stourport Road, B4190 Beales Corner, B4190 Load Street.

Proposed Order: to close that part of 1) B4190 Kidderminster Road from its junction with U13012 Northwood Lane to its junction with B4190 Beales Corner; 2) B4190 Beales Corner from its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Road to its junction with B4190 Load Road; 3) B4190 Load Street from its junction with B4190 Beales Corner to its junction with B4190 High Street

  • This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 dayscommencing 26 July 2021.
  • Alternative routes: – U10215 The Lakes Road, U10202 Richmond Road and vice versa.
