(U10511 Sandy Bank and U10511 Wyre Hill, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U10511 Sandy Bank and U10511 Wyre Hill from its junction with B4190 Welch Gate to its junction with B4190 Cleobury Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 9 days Commencing: 1 August 2022

Reason: Replace/renewal of manhole cover/frame by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U10202 Richmond Road, U10213 Yew Tree Lane, B4190 Cleobury Road, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Welch Gate and vice versa.

            ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

 

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF U10511 WYRE HILL, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

 

Reason for restriction: Restore customer service by Openreach.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U10513 Forest Close to its junction with B4190 Welch Gate.

 

  1. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days commencing 13 June 2022.

 

  1. Alternative routes: U10512 Merricks Lane, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Welch Gate, U10511 Sandy Bank and vice versa.

 

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2195 HEIGHTINGTON ROAD, RIBBESFORD, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Water leak/burst main. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U10012 Jennings Wood Lane for a distance of 770 metres in a northerly direction.

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days commencing 22 March 2022.

3. Alternative routes: – U10012 Jennings Wood Lane, U64219 Burnthorne Lane, B4194 Ribbesford Road, C2195 Leight Lane, C2195 Heightington Road and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
