BEWDLEY TOWN COUNCIL OWNS & MAINTAINS 7 NOTICEBOARDS
The use of noticeboards is reserved for non-profit groups and organisations, commercial advertisement and notices will not be accepted.
Please ensure that you bring any and all items you wish to be displayed for review by council staff to ensure that it meets the requirements set out by the Town Council Noticeboard Policy, which can be viewed below.
It is suggested that a proof or copy is submitted for approval at least a week prior to your allocated booking to allow time for re-printing or amendments that may be required before the item(s) can be displayed.
Additionally, please note that for Beales Corner Notice Board in particular, all items must be clearly legible in both light and low-light conditions and have large font to prevent the distraction to motorists. There is also a maximum word count of 30 words to adhere to.
GUILDHALL NOTICEBOARD
The large noticeboard in The Guildhall foyer, located on the left-hand side just outside the Bewdley Museum, is divided into 2 sections. One side is used solely by Bewdley Town Council for public notices, such as Summons and Agendas, as well as any other pertinent information of use to members of the public. The other side is available to use by local event organisers who wish to advertise their events.
LOAD STREET NOTICEBOARD
This noticeboard is located just outside of the main gates into Bewdley Guildhall, situated above our Remembrance memorial bench. It is visible to those traversing Load Street and to those making use of the road crossing.
LOAD STREET TOILETS NOTICEBOARD
Located in Load Street Car Park, near St George’s Hall, this noticeboard is attached to the wall of the Load Street Toilet facilities and is visible to those exiting the car park onto Load Street.
BEALES CORNER NOTICEBOARD
Located on Beales Corner near the bridge, this noticeboard is much larger than the other noticeboards and is used to display posters that can be viewed by both passersby and drivers coming into the town.
Use of Beales Corner requires that you book a Monday to Sunday time-block in advance by contacting Bewdley Town Council Office. Once booked, and upon receipt of payment you will be asked to deliver your notice to the Town Council Office where arrangements will be made to display it during your time-slot, after which it will be removed once your allotted time is finished. If you would like the poster returned to you afterwards, you must inform the office at the time of booking otherwise the notice will be disposed of within a week of removal.
It is recommended that posters designed to be displayed in Beales Corner Notice Board are no bigger than A0 in size (1189mm x 841 mm). Any larger than this and it may not fit or be fully visible, whereas if it is any smaller it will likely be too small to be visible to those driving past and could potentially cause a dangerous distraction.

LOAD STREET BUS SHELTERS NOTICEBOARD
Located on Load Street on the entrance to the town across the bridge from Wribbenhall, each shelter contains a large noticeboard. Suitable for larger A3 posters to be viewed by those awaiting buses from the town centre.
RIVERSIDE NORTH PARK NOTICEBOARD
Located within the centre of the park this board makes great use for attracting views from those entering the park from the main entrance.

BOOKING PROCEDURE
Organisations or groups who wish to display a poster on any of the noticeboards should in the first instance make contact with the Town Council office by email on admin@bewdleytowncouncil.gov.uk or by phone on 01299 400157.
Please bring your notices to the Bewdley Town Council Office upon confirmation of your booking.
