(B4190 Habberley Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: to close that part of B4190 Habberley Rd from its junction with U10320 New Rd for a distance of 250 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing at Wribbenhall Gardens site by Owl Homes

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4190 Habberley Rd (part), B4190 Kidderminster Rd, A456 Kidderminster Rd, A456 Bewdley Rd, A442 Proud Cross Ringway, A442 Franche Rd, B4190 Habberley Ln,
B4190 Habberley Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 20 August 2025

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4190 Cleobury Rd, U10215 The Lakes Rd and vice versa.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U10511 Sandy Bank from its junction with B4190 Welch Gate to its junction with U10513 Forest Cl.

Reason: Street lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, U10512 Merricks Ln, U10511 Wyre Hill, U10511 Sand Bank (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 5 August 2025

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF B4194 RIBBESFORD ROAD, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Tree maintenance.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U11000 Areley Lane to its junction with C2195 Leigh Lane.

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days; however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 1 day commencing 9 May 2025.

3. Alternative routes: Diversion Anticlockwise – B4194 Ribbesford Road (part), A451 Dunley Road, A451 Bridge Street, A451 High Street, B4195 Lombard Street, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Bewdley Road North, B4195 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Cleobury Road, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 High Street, B4194 High Street, B4194 Redhill, B4194 Ribbesford Road (part). Diversion Clockwise – B4194 Ribbesford Road (part), B4194 Redhill, B4194 High Street, B4190 High Street, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4195 Stourport Road, B4195 Bewdley Road North, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Lombard Street, A451 Mitton Street, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York Street, A451 Bridge Street, A451 Dunley Road, B4194 Ribbesford Road (part).

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
