Bewdley FRMS construction update

Construction is progressing well and we are still on target to complete in late summer 2025.

The most recent milestone achieved is the installation of the flood gates. Please note that while the flood gates have now been installed and may be closed, the scheme is not yet operational as high river levels would still pass through the sections of the scheme where the flood defence is still being built up. The glass panels will be fitted along the top of the flood wall to bring it up to the full design height spring 2025.
