NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF B4194 HIGH STREET, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

 

Reason for restriction: Electricity fault. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with B4190 Load Street to its junction with U10500 Lax Lane.

 

  1. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days: however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 days (24hrs) commencing 20 August 2025.

 

  1. Alternative routes: B4194 Lower Park, B4194 Red Hill, B4194 Ribbesford Road, A451 Dunley Road, A451 Bridge Street, A451 High Street, B4195 Lombard Street, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Bewdley Road North, A456 Stourport Road, B4190 Kidderminster Road, B4190 Load Street, B4194 High Street and vice versa

 

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
