New Speed Limits along A456
New speed limit proposals to implement various speed limits along the A456, west of Kidderminster, have now been authorised for implementation, without modification. This follows successful consultation and consideration of the formal public objections received (formal letters of support were also received). The proposals are shown on the attached drawing number T.2024.456.1
These proposals were a result of investigation by the WCC Road Safety Team and the Civic Engineering Consultant Jacobs.
The Contractor will begin installation work around the 3rd July 2025 (subject to weather and their programme/ emergencies).
