            ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

 

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF SANDY BANK, BEWDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Replacement manhole cover in carriagewayThere is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with B4190 Welch Gate to its junction with U10513 Forest Close
  2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days (24hrs) commencing 6 February 2025.
  1. Alternative routes: – U10511 Sand Bank (part), B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road, U10512 Merricks Lane, U10511 Wyre Hill and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

No access for emergency vehicles, the diversion route must be maintained.
