            ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

 

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF B4190 LOAD STREET & BEALES CORNER, BEWDLEY (ONE-WAY CLOSURE – EASTBOUND)

 

Reason for restriction: Urgent repairs to the flood defence system.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 

1.The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of:

B4190 Load Street from its junction with U10500 Severn Side South to its junction with B4190 Beales Corner in an Easterly direction.

B4190 Beales Corner from its junction with B4190 Load Street to its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Road in an Easterly direction.

 

2.This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days commencing 6 January 2025.

 

3.Alternative routes: – B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road,
A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Kidderminster Road and vice versa.

 

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
