Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(A456 Bewdley Bypass and B4195 Stourport Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: Closure 1 to close that part of A456 Bewdley Bypass from its junction with A456 Catchems End Roundabout to its junction with A456 Blackstone Roundabout. Closure 2  B4195 Stourport Road from its junction with A456 Bewdley Bypass to its junction with U10406  Sandbourne Drive
Reason: Establishing Traffic Management by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion 1 – Closure 1 – A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4195 Stourport Road, B4195 Bewdley Road, A451 Minster Road, A451 Stourport Road, A4535 Sutton Road, A456 Bewdley Hill, A456 Kidderminster Road. Diversion 2 – Closure 1 – A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Kidderminster Road, B4195 Stourport Road. Diversion 3 – Closure 2 – B4195 Stourport Road, B4195 Stourport Road, B4190 Load Street, B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Cleobury Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:00-06:00) Commencing: 29 August 2022
