PUBLIC NOTICE – 2 Distribution -Trimpley Lane and Anton Close, Bewdley POW
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District – Bewdley area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Trimpley Lane and Anton Close, Bewdley]
On 21 December 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bewdley:-
Trimpley Lane (Southwest side) from its junction with Anton Close for a distance of 15 metres in both a north westerly and south easterly direction.
Anton Close (Northwest side) from its junction with Trimpley Lane for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction (Southeast side) from its junction with Trimpley Lane for a distance of 18 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 11 January 2024.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
