Civic Award Winner Announced

The Mayor of Bewdley, Cllr Ian Latimer JP, presented the 2024-2025 Civic Awards during The Annual Town Meeting on Monday 24th April at St George’s Hall, Bewdley.

The Civic Award recognises outstanding voluntary service to the Bewdley Community. The Council received 11 nominations this year. The winner is Mr Colin Hill.

Mr Hill has played a major role in the community, being involved in the annual Duck Race, being part of the Bewdley Festival Committee, photographing many of the town events and  organising monthly art exhibitions.

All of the nominated candidates were awarded a Thank You Award by the Mayor, presented in a framed certificate. In addition, the winner of the Civic Award, Mr Hill, was also presented with the Civic Award pendant.
