Bewdley Rowing Club Regatta and Sprint
Date(s): 26th and 27th July
Start and Finish times: 8am – 6pm
Location: Bewdley Rowing Club
Bewdley Regatta is a British Rowing affiliated event where rowers from all over the country come and compete. We attract competitors who are just starting out on their rowing journey through to those who have been in the sport for a number of decades. Those that come to race are from 12 years old through to 80 years young and in all boat classes from single sculls up to eights. Our event is run over two days, the Saturday being the regatta course of 800m from just above the measuring station and the Sunday being the sprint of 600m from just above the Gasworks both finishing at the club steps. All the races are side by side in a knockout style and is a spectacle to watch from both the club itself or from the quayside in the town.
If you are visiting for the day, looking to entertain business clients or rowing one day and staying the next, then why not look at becoming a sponsor and watching the racing from the comfort of our President’s Enclosure located on the roof of the clubhouse, with marquees, outdoor seating, and plenty of room for everyone.
If this wasn’t enough to tempt you, perhaps the offer of complimentary drinks all day and a lavish buffet lunch may do it.
Bewdley Town Council will be providing a free park and ride shuttle bus service for the event. Parking will be available at The Bewdley School, Stourport Road, Bewdley and also at The Running Horse pub, Longbank, Bewdley.
